Chili Cheese Dawg Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Carrots

  • 1 can Chickpea

  • 1/2 cup vital gluten

  • 1 can Pacifico chili

  • Hotdog buns

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 cup veggie broth

  • 1/2 tbsp Mustard powder

  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp Wheat germ

  • 1 tbsp Hauled hemp seeds

  • 1 tbsp Coconut aminos

  • 1 tbsp Salt + pepper

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil

  • 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 cup melted and warmed Credo OatMilk Queso Cheese

Instructions to Create Vegan Chili Cheese Dawg

  1. Prepare the Veggies: Finely chop the carrots and set them aside.

  2. Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas (drained and rinsed), vital gluten, chopped carrots, maple syrup, veggie broth, mustard powder, garlic powder, tomato paste, minced garlic, wheat germ, hemp seeds, coconut aminos, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Form the Dawgs: Shape the mixture into hotdog-like forms. You should have about 4-6 dawgs depending on the size you make them.

  4. Cook the Dawgs: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the dawgs and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and firm.

  5. Prepare the Chili: In a separate pot, heat the Pacifico chili over medium heat until warmed through. Stir occasionally.

  6. Assemble the Dawgs: Place the cooked dawgs into hotdog buns. Top generously with the warmed chili.

  7. Add the Cheese: Drizzle the melted and warmed Credo OatMilk Queso Cheese over the chili-topped dawgs.

  8. Serve: Enjoy your Vegan Chili Cheese Dawgs hot, garnished with additional toppings if desired!
